Youth Group

The mission of our youth program is to introduce young people to a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Realizing that life is a spiritual journey, we support and empower our youth with activities and teaching in the areas of Christian spirituality, fellowship, and service to equip them to worship, witnesses and work in the church and throughout the world.

Graduating Seniors

Cedric “Max” Diaz

  1. High School Attended: St Augustine High School
  2. College Attending: St Johns River State
  3. Activities: Wrestling, Youth Group, Acolyte
  4. What are some ways you hope your connection with God will grow in this next chapter: I hope my connection with God will continue to grow and prosper.
  5. Most memorable moment: Making it to regionals my first year wrestling.
  6. Favorite Bible Verse: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me, your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4

Matthew Pounder

  1. High School Attended: Nease High School
  2. College Attending: Jacksonville University to study Communications
  3. Activities: 4 years Varsity Lacrosse, School and District Athletic Leadership Council
  4. What are some ways you hope your connection with God will grow in this next chapter: I hope to be able to come closer to God throughout college and to have his helping me through this next transition.
  5. Most memorable moment in High School: I would have to say all 4 years of being on the lacrosse team.
  6. Favorite Bible Verse: “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

Alexis Jackson

  1. High School Attended: St Joseph Academy
  2. College Attending: Birmingham Southern College in hopes to become a Pediatrician.
  3. Activities: 3 years swim team, 3 years lacrosse (Captain and started the lacrosse team), community service hours 787 hours, and 2 years Trinity Youth Group.
  4. What are some ways you hope your connection with God will grow in this next chapter: I hope God will lead me through the right choices in college and I continue my faith and find a new Church to where I feel I belong and I am loved.
  5. Most memorable moment in High School: Being able to go to Belize with our school and help people there who were in need. We also were able to interact and play with children who suffered with AIDS/HIV. It changed my life forever and I left my heart there.
  6. Favorite Bible verse: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13

Brooke Reed

  1. High School Attended: St Augustine High School
  2. College Attending: The University of West Florida to study Business
  3. Activities: Varsity Lacrosse and Basketball, NHS, Acolyte and Lay Reader/ Chalice Bearer.
  4. What are some ways you hope your connection with God will grow in this next chapter: God will show the path my life is destined to take and I will continue to grow in my faith.
  5. Most memorable moment in High School: Winning Districts for Basketball senior year and winning Districts all 4 years with Lacrosse.
  6. Favorite Bible Verse: “ If you have Faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for  you.” Matthew 17:20
